Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing educational support and training to nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with medical protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff in areas such as medical documentation, patient care, and medical terminology.
- Conduct training sessions on topics including acute care, critical care, and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing managers to assess educational needs and develop tailored training plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare to update training materials accordingly.
Skills:
- Minimum 15 years nursing experience, with 5 years specific to education.
- Proficiency in adult education principles and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and procedures.
- Ability to educate on patient care techniques and medical terminology effectively.
- Background in acute care or critical care nursing is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Masters in Nursing Education required.
